No registration with the SEC is required, and no exemptions from registration are claimed or needed. This position is consistent with SEC staff views on meme coins but is not binding on the Commission or courts; future interpretations, enforcement actions, or regulatory changes could differ.
Regulatory risks remain: Cryptocurrency classifications are evolving globally (e.g., EU MiCA, potential U.S. legislation on digital assets/meme coins). Users must independently verify compliance in their jurisdiction; participation may be restricted or illegal in some areas.
